A team of Maryland first grade teachers in one of the largest school districts in the country asked me for a template for the Words of the Week activities so that they could make some that would match their particular word lists. Since I already had the templates for everything, I decided to make a set of activities that are specific to first grade and fill their request at the same time. I've also added little readers to the mix for building fluency. I decided to go ahead and share it here since it should work for lots of teachers and their first graders.
